Waxed, No. 2.5F lead offers smooth writing and delivers a fine line. Round-edged, hexagonal pencils have a red-banded ferrule, a soft nonsmudge eraser and a multi-coat yellow paint. PMA certified nontoxic pencils come unsharpened and can easily be sharpened to a fine, exact point.
